The Swedish watch brand Daniel Wellington combines Scandinavian minimalism with timeless elegance. The result are exclusive watches, which are unique for their refinement and interchangeable bracelets.
Timeless elegance with finesse: watches by Daniel Wellington
The design of the Swedish watch brand Daniel Wellington is clear, simple, refined and varied. While many watches are tied to a non interchangeable band and thus only one style, the company places its bets on changeable looks. Depending on the mood and day, the watch wearer can customize his watch. Removable bracelets and unique dials make the change possible and characterize the fascination of these watches. The minimalistic and timelessly elegant design of the individual components contributes to the harmonious overall concept while nevertheless clearly revealing the typical style of Daniel Wellington. Every watch is based on British charm, which has been interpreted in a modern way and takes up the Preppy-style of the 1950s. But while the Preppy-style was originally only used by the graduates of New Englands elite schools, Swedish timepieces are a wonderful companion for everyone.
One clock, infinite facets
With the Daniel Wellington brand, you can wear a different watch every day of the week. Thanks to the easily interchangeable bands, your watch always fits your outfit, mood or occasion. The diverse selection of soft leather and robust NATO wristbands define the unique timepieces of Daniel Wellington. The typical NATO bracelet of this watch brand is based on the British Navy of the 1970s and is available in a wide color palette. If, on the other hand, one prefers a more elegant look, you can rely on the genuine leather bracelets. The noble brown and black nuances of the leather lend the watches a timeless look. The dials have been designed to fit the thin NATO and leather straps and complement the Daniel Wellington watches.
The brand Daniel Wellington, created in random encounter
Behind the unique design of the watches is a random encounter of the company founder Filip Tysander. Immediately after completing his studies, the founder traveled the world and became acquainted with a British Gentleman, who had a certain fascination: he combined a Rolex watch with a NATO watch band. The name of the Gentleman was Daniel Wellington. Impressed by his immaculate and modest fashion Filip Tysander developed a suitable watch collection, trying to captured this style. He founded his brand Daniel Wellington in 2011. As a tribute to the British, each of the Daniel Wellington watches bears the name of a British city, thus giving each timepiece its own British background.
