A spacious wallet in a landscape format is one of the classics of accessories and, thanks to its elongated, horizontal shape, it allows for crease-free storage of banknotes and receipts. But there is also plenty of minimalistic all-rounders: many landscape wallets for women impress above all with their practical features and discreet colour scheme that matches everything. Whether animal print versions or beige-coloured all-purpose models, many designs are equipped with pragmatic room dividers as well as insert or zip compartments on the front or back. In addition to fashionable and plain designs, the range of wallets for women also includes vintage-looking models. A nostalgic wallet with a clasp fastener should be a part of every retro-inspired collection. The so-called viennese box, a wallet in landscape format with a coin compartment that can be opened wide in all four directions, also radiates a nostalgic charm. To ensure that the wallet is perfectly matched to the handbag in terms of style, many labels offer corresponding pairs. While women prefer to carry the wallet in a handbag, many men simply put it in the hip pocket. This explains the classic design of wallets for men– two or three-part models that are folded without a closure and usually measure about 9 cm in height and about 12 cm in width. The two-part horizontal wallets usually impress with a coin compartment with snap fastener and a banknote section with room dividers. The three-part versions (trifold wallets) provide more compartments but are less flat and take up more space when stowed.
