Bike bags

Ortlieb bike bags are familiar to every cyclist: for over three decades they stand for high quality and have the reputation of being indestructible. It' s no wonder: bike bags belong to the core competence of the German brand. The durability of Ortlieb bags is mainly based on the particularly hard-wearing, single- or double-sided coated materials and excellent workmanship. The Ortlieb range includes panniers and rack bags as much as handlebar bags. Many models are equipped with height-adjustable cover and reflectors.

Mounting systems

There are five Quick Lock (QL) holding systems by Ortlieb: QL1, QL2, QL2.1, QL3 and QL 3.1, all of which can be handled without additional tools. As soon as the bag is hooked in, the locks snap into place. By picking up the bag, they are immediately unlocked. All QL systems are also height and angle adjustable. Each fixing set contains several inserts (reducers). These are usually suitable for racks with a diameter of 8 to 16 mm. The QL2 system can be equipped with an anti-theft device. It consists of a steel cable with loop and an extra lock. The QL2.1 system has also 12 mm adapters in addition to the standard 8 and 10 mm reducers. Bigger 20 mm Quick Lock hooks are also available. They fit racks with a diameter of 17 to 20 mm (usual for e-bikes). The QL3 or QL3.1 systems are designed for urban models of Ortlieb bags. They keep the back of the bag free from fastening components. These are mounted exclusively on the rack.

Urban backpacks and travel bags

Flexible city backpacks with adjustable closure and travel bags with backpack function belong to the classics in the assortment of the German brand. Most backpacks are equipped with reflectors, padded carrying system and light holder. Typical features also include elastic lacing on the front or daisy chains and a padded laptop compartment.
