    Carry-on luggage: What dimensions and weight are permitted?

As for the weight, according to IATE guidelines, your carry-on luggage should not weigh more than eight kilos. However, many airlines allow heavier baggage as long as it meets the dimensions, and you can lift and carry it on your own. It is best to check with your airline before flying. Some companies have different carry-on luggage regulations, depending on the ticket price, departure city, etc. Tip: Carry-on luggage is usually checked for the correct size before boarding with the help of a metal box.
