    The future is now! The intelligent Xtend luggage from Kabuto is the long awaited revolution on the suitcase market! The trolleys are not only expandable – the zipper with integrated stretch pleat allows the Xtend luggage to expand from 55 cm to 75 cm, they also convince with smart digital technologies and a stylish colour range. When not expanded, the luggage has the usual cabin dimensions of 55 cm x 35 cm x 22 cm and a volume of 40 litres. The horizontal extension zipper increases the volume up to 60 litres. Kabuto suitcases consist of three compartments: main compartment, bottom compartment (for shoes or wet clothes) and easy access compartment on the back with a padded gadget pocket for a tablet or a laptop up to 12". The interior layout includes an extra pocket for a 15" device. Each model has a garment bag, a rain cover and a shoe bag.

    The smart luggage won the Travel Goods Association's Product Innovation and Design Award in 2017. One year later it received the German reddot design award. Kabuto luggage is light and waterproof as well as scratch and shock-resistant: the high-quality materials consist of synthetic fabrics with ABS lamination. Every Xtend suitcase is equipped with two big, low-noise and manoeuvrable wheels. The telescopic frame is lockable and has four height settings: 94 cm, 100 cm, 105 cm and 110 cm. It is attached to the outside and can be folded away at the back instead of the main compartment for space reasons. The extension zone is color-highlighted at most models.

    The Xtend Smart Edition includes a removable power bank with 20.000 mAh capacity (approx. 60 Wh). Fixed batteries can become a problem at check-in: the removable power bank, in contrast, can be easily disconnected. This Kabuto Xtend luggage is equipped with a USB-C socket, two USB-A sockets and a Micro-USB socket. A digital display informs about the battery charge in percent. Furthermore, the Xtend suitcase of the Smart Edition is equipped with a biometric, TSA-certified fingerprint sensor. The innovative TSA lock can store up to 10 fingerprints: two keys are also featured. The Xtend Lite version closes with an ordinary TSA lock. Next to it is a USB-A socket for connecting your own battery to charge your gadgets – no Xtend power bank is built into this model.

    The innovative brand was founded in 2016 by two passionate globetrotters, Jérôme Tricault and Louis Develay, in Paris. The name of the company is associated with the safe and flexibly adjustable helmets of the Japanese Samurai – Kabuto. In accordance with this, every Xtend suitcase offers optimum protection for technical gadgets as well as the greatest flexibility on the road. The brand offers a 5-year warranty on its high tech luggage.
