I purchased this 55cm S'cure DLX in graphite. Delivery was quick (took only 5 working days from ordering to delivery in Lithuania!)
Exterior - as you would expect from samsonite - material is hard and protective, but not so stiff that it will break if compressed or possibly slightly overpacked.
3 point TSA locking system is great - one of the main reasons I use this range as I don't fid zippers that secure or as weather resistant!
Inside you will find the top compartment (only the top) is separated by a zipped liner which actually lines the entire top of the suitcase - there will be no contact with the plastic of the case from items packed in here.
Samsonite also provide a small plastic (quite thick) clear resealable bag for toiletries and a 'suit frame' to fold suits around - this also has a zip which is handy for ties, handkerchieves, small items.
The bag rolls perfectly on all 4 wheels, and could be used on 2 wheels without scraping the bottom of the bag (although I don't think they designed it for long term use like this!)
As this won't 'stretch' like some cabin sized soft trolleys you do need to pack well if only taking this with you. I find the bag is perfect for 1-4night stop overs, and a little tight for up to 7 days.
The telescopic handle is easy to use and grip.
In addition to this DLX 55cm I have the 69cm version of this suitcase in the standard S'cure.
Compared against each other - the little extra touches that Samsonite have put in do make a very nice aesthetic difference. Perfect for carry on. But expect that the extra touches would show increased wear if this was frequently carried in the aircraft hod rather than cabin.
